Okefenokee!! The Department of the Interior has provided the green light to move ahead with a World Heritage nomination (after receiving over 10,000 letters of support) for the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2023/09/25/2023-20719/us-nomination-to-the-world-heritage-list-okefenokee-national-wildlife-refuge so we are now on a fast track to develop a World Heritage nomination. Wild Heritage will be closely involved in this process and we look forward to working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Okefenokee Swamp Park and Adventures and many other partners!
